QUESTION: Councillor M. Johansson

"To ask the Housing Department how many people have been housed by the Council in Aylmer Heath in Newcastle, and if there are any remaining vacant properties owned by the council in the estate?"

REPLY:

There are a total of 11 Council owned dwellings in the Aylmer Estate all are currently Tenanted, 9 of these are unsoldaffordables on Aylmer Drive and 2 SDCC dwellings are on Aylmer Road.  A dwelling owned by Tuath Housing in Aylmer Heath was recently advertised on Choice Based Letting the successful applicant has been nominated to Tuath.
