To ask the Manager how many MembersReps have been made over the past five years in relation to the Playspace Programme, specifically queries relating to anti-social behaviour and maintenance.
Can it be confirmed what constitutes a medical priority, does it consist of particular levels of medical condition to qualify, or does it solely consist of a Consultants Certificate and a form of home adaptation with an Occupational Therapist involved. Can this be explained to me?
That this committee asks the Chief Executive to further investigate the introduction of defibrillator signage within our County and to report back on the costs involved. The availability of defibrillators in our Community provide undisputed benefits and generally are provided through fundraising through sport clubs and other voluntary organisation. The introduction of signs identifying the location of defibrillators would greatly increase the likelihood of that they would be used effectively and quickly in case of an emergency. The erection of signage would also help identify areas which lack sufficient numbers of defibrillators.

That this South Dublin County Council calls on Simon Harris TD, Minister for Health, to respond positively to the campaign to increase the hospital bed capacity which caters for communities in most of our county; asking him to appreciate the particular demand in that regard and to immediately engage in discussions with the HSE; will the CEO also forward the terms of this motion to the Minister, the CEO of the HSE and also copy it to Tallaght hospital, which is leading the campaign.

"Could the footpath which leads to the main laneway running beside St Michael´s House/Templeogue House be cut back. The path is about 20 foot long but only 2 foot of the tarmac is visible."

To ask the Chief Executive if he could evaluate the effectiveness of bus lanes throughout the county and if he has identified bus lanes where you never see a bus and if he will make a statement in the matter.
To ask the Chief Executive if he has evaluated the most recent IBAL report in respect of litter throughout our county and if he will state what progress he believes is being made to tackle the problem and also detail supports available to our communities to effectively tackle the issue.
To ask the Chief Executive to confirm how many prosecutions were taken by the Council in respect of Litter and Graffiti throughout the county in the last calendar year and will he list details in respect of each electoral area.
To ask the Chief Executive if he is aware of the concerns of many throughout the county in respect of the menace of dog fouling in public places; will he offer advice in the matter and make a statement.
To ask the Chief Executive to state the number of cases of planning enforcement taken in 2016 and will he give details of the success rate in that regard.
This Council agrees that those who have not returned their housing needs assessment form are not immediately excluded from the housing list and that the deadline is extended until at least 31st of March in line with Dublin City Council, furthermore this Council agrees that all possible attempts are made by the management to contact people who have failed to return the housing needs assessment form.
