MOTION NO. 14

MOTION: Councillor J. Graham

"That this Committee agrees that the large green area facing Foxdene Avenue that runs parallel to the 'New Road' is cut and maintained with immediate effect and added to the Council's schedule of works from now on."

REPORT:

Following inspection of the area, it has been confirmed that this area of open space is being maintained and cut by the Public Realm Section.  However, there is a mounded area between the open space and the “New Road”  which has never been landscaped. In its current condition, it would not be possible to include it in the schedule of works.  This matter would have to be reviewed in consultation with other Departments in the Council to determine the best course of action in this instance.
