"That the public realm team would publish a management plan as a headed item at our December Area Committee to support the recently announced investment to eradicate Japanese Knotweed. Residents are particularly keen also to see proposed dates and also advice on how to deal with/report knotweed included in the management plan?"
"That this committee calls on the Environment & Public Realm department to engage with the Office of public works to deliver on WC facilities that are aligned to the opening hours of St Endas Park and Rathfarnham Castle Park. The current arrangement where the park is open but the toilets are closed are causing undue distress to many who visit our park during Summer timetable to find the toilets closed."
"That this Committee calls for serious consideration for a School Bus Trial/Evaluation in key traffic hotspots across the county. Many of the traffic flow problems exist in our areas during School drop and collection times. Key schools and estates could benefit hugely from the provision of a school bus serving the communities and alleviating traffic on the local roads."
"That this committee calls on the NTA to carry out a full Noise pollution assessment of the housing estates bordering the M50 and comments on solutions and likely delivery of same to alleviate the increasing noise pollution as a result of increasing traffic on the m50."
“That this committee calls on the Land Use Planning & Transport Department to request the NTA to fund and publish a full assessment of the current and proposed public transport routes in the Rathfarnham Area during 2017 and revert back to this committee with comment on plans to meet the current and growing demand for improved public transport investment in the area.
Note: Particular emphasis on routes to serve the new communities coming as part of the Ballycullen Old Court Local Area Plan should be focused on as traffic from new developments will have a big impact on the already strained existing infrastructure and a key element to the improvement of traffic flows is a well planned public transport service."
“Please can the Chief Executive outline the terms of reference and associated timetable for the forward plan traffic assessment in response to the Motion recently adopted for Rathfarnham (given the emerging and increasing traffic flow issues faced by many residents on Stocking Avenue, Edmondstown Road, Ballycullen Road, Whitechurch Road and Old Court Road)?"
"To ask the Chief Executive to give an update on the realignment of the Knocklyon Road?"
"To ask the Chief Executive what steps Members and residents of RTT should do if we have adverse weather conditions over the Christmas period and the SDCC offices are closed? What numbers are available out of hours for assistance?"
"That the Chief Executive provides a report on the future uses and development of Delaford Park, Knocklyon."
"That the Chief Executive upgrades and widens the footpath leading from the rear of the Coolamber Estate to the rear of St. Colmcilles NS, Knocklyon."
