That this Area Committee requests the Chief Executive report on what actions have been taken to speed up the delay in tree pruning, planting and removals built up over the last number of years in our electoral area, to outline whether a significantly increased budget request will be made this year and to agree to ramp up estates where trees are blocking street lights such as in Foxford, Lucan, liasing with the transportation section to schedule in repairs to kerbs damaged by tree roots; and if a statement can be made on the matter.
"To ask the Chief Executive what plans if any are in place to provide suitable, affordable, vandal-proof storage facilities or basic changing shelters in the smaller parks and green spaces in Lucan and Palmerstown where football is played by clubs, including the long-standing request by Beech Park FC for something along these lines; and if a statement can be made on the matter?"
That this Area Committee request the Chief Executive reports comprehensively on the scandalous situation whereby multiple perpetrators have been able to continue burning domestic and commercial waste and wire for scrap metal at multiple locations in Lucan including at the 12th Lock and off the Adamstown link road, apparently with impunity, over a period of weeks; and furthermore to clarify whether the delay in acting on this issue which has been a huge concern (especially to parents) is down to a lack of action on one or more agencies included in the "multi-agency approach" referred to by the Council in response to my queries, due to a lack of resources, or down to a loophole in the law which needs to be changed.
"To get a report on progress made in relation to commitments given at the June Area Committee Meeting regarding permission for ducting to be installed in Newcastle Cemetery."
"That this Area Committee Meeting gets a full update on the Irish Water plans in Rathcoole Park and that the Council formally seeks compensation (to be ring-fenced for Parks improvements) under the CPO and co-operation and collaboration with Irish Water to make the changes necessary to the Boherboy Water Pipes in order to facilitate construction of a carpark in front of the Parks Depot."

"This committee agrees that the Council reinforce the wall at St Cuthbert's Park at the following locations:
Junction of Deansrath Green and Park
Junction of Melrose Green and Park
These two areas have been damaged to allow ease of access to the park for cars/bikes etc. and it is having a detrimental impact on the residents who live in this area."
"To ask the Chief Executive to note the disappointment of residents in North Clondalkin in not having any Dublin Canvas Projects awarded in their area and to ask what process can be used for this to happen?"
