That the CEO will write to Dublin Bus / Transport for Ireland requesting the scheduling of additional busses on the 15 and 15b routes for early weekday mornings. Currently busses are over capacity at these times with many locals reporting an inability to board these busses by the time they go just a short distance from their terminus. People want to leave their cars at home and take the bus to school or work, but when you turn up at a bus stop at 7am and a number of full busses go past you, you're not going to be inclined to try that again and you will just revert to the comfort and ease of your car. Anything that can be done to increase capacity on these routes at these peak times should be considered.

Questions
Can the manager please provide an update on the security of the Augustinians site following the fire last month. It appears that some repairs / maintenance works may have been carried out on the buildings recently and can the manager also please report on this

Motions
This Committee requests that additional bins are installed either side of the Bushy Park walkway e.g. opposite Rathfarnham shopping centre and towards the end of the boardwalk. There are a considerable number of dog walkers using this amenity so the provision of bins would be really helpful in reducing waste.

That the council will replace trees that were cut down some years ago in the cul de sac between Marian Crescent and Washington Lane.
This Committee requests that the grass is fully cut at Owendore Crescent in Rathfarnham. The grass area was partially cut during the summer and has been left that way ever since (see attached photos).
That this Council carried out much needed grass cutting at the entrance to the Owendore Estate, near the Garda Station in Rathfarnham
That this committee calls on the manager to upgrade the children's playground in Greentrees Park to make it universally accessible and includes communication boards and additional play equipment as part of the upgrade.
That the Council reviews the Kissing Gate closest to Riverview from Tymon Park, with a view to making it easily navigable by bikes, mobility scooters, wheelchairs and prams.

Questions
This Committee asks for an update on planning enforcement relating to the lands / premises in laneway to rear of Muckross Avenue, Perrystown, Dublin 12.
Transportation
Questions
To ask the Chief Executive to report on the status of the walking and cycling route through the new Two Oaks development into Dargle Park, which appears to be a requirement of the planning permission granted for that development. It appears that the proposed route remains blocked by a stone wall and that the council may need to provide a linked pathway on lands it owns in Dargle Park to link up with the path already completed by the Developer.

That the council will inspect the traffic calming and pedestrian / cyclist safety measures in place at Coláiste Éanna CBS, Ballyroan and take any necessasry steps to improve the situation. There are concerns about the traffic coming into the school grounds each morning in terms of both the numbers of cars and their speed. Some plastic bollards that were put in place a number of years ago have been knocked down and the council might investigate providing some more permanent restrictions on traffic into the school with a view to making it safer for pupils and to encourage the use of walking / cycling. There is currently no designated / segregated pedestrian path into the school from Hillside Park - it is fully shared with vehicular traffic. It may also be beneficial to provide some signage encouraging drivers to slow down, etc.
That this committee calls on the manager to investigate and report back to this committee the current trend of car sharing companies taking up parking spaces 24/7 at small local shopping centres that are already struggling to maintain their businesses.
This Committee requests the Council include the junction of Whitchurch and Wilbrook road area in Rathfarnham in the paths upgrade programme. There is no drop-kerb/ low section here and the footpath is particularly high on both sides. Crossing the road with a buggy here is difficult. It is also very difficult for those with mobility challenges and children using scooters/ bikes.
That this area committee asks the Chief Executive to prioritise Rathfarnham Village for a public realm upgrade programme, in line with recent works in Templeogue Village and Rosemount District Centre, to ensure we invest in public realm and support our villages reach their full potential as important centres for commercial, social and community activity.
That this Council instals wheelchair access points along the Dodder Greenway at the Lower Dodder Road.
That the council prepare a traffic management plan for Ballyroan Crescent, with particular focus on arrangements at school drop off and collection times and the prevention of parking of cars in front of driveways of local residents.
This Committee requests the installation of a salt bin at the entrance to the Boden Park estate in Rathfarnham. The entrance and exit to the estate is steep and causes difficulty for vehicles during icy periods - the salt bin will assist residents during the winter months.
That the Chief Executive examines a broken footpath outside (Address Provided) in Rathfarnham for repair as soon as possible, as a resident recently tripped at this location?
