That this Area Committee commends Paula Galvin on her work on Fairtrade and Climate Change and acknowledge that she has been chosen to speak at COP 28. (The Government of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) will host the 28th Conference of the Parties of the UNFCCC (COP 28), with a view to building on previous successes and paving the way for future ambition to effectively tackle the global challenge of climate change.) Mrs Galvin deserves to be recognised by this committee as an inspirational leader and for her work on Climate Equality , social Justice and sustainability. We commit to write to her and thank her for her work and commitment to Climate Change.
