QUESTION: Councillor F. Timmons

To ask the Chief executive what action he will take to remedy the dangerous road conditions and potholes in Cherrywood , Cappaghmore and Fonthill caused by recent works ?

REPLY:

An inspection was carried out on the sites in question and no dangerous road conditions were observed. It was noted that there is a large number of temporary reinstatements in place but they were not causing defects.

If there is a specific location of concern please let me know and we can re-inspect. 

Road Maintenance will contact the contractor to try get the permanent re-instatement progressed
