"Following on from my question in January and previous motions before that, will the Manager indicate when the Council will start the works required to make safe for pedestrians and wheelchair users the ground at the junction of the footpath leading to Castletymon Shopping Centre from St Aongus Estate.This matter is ongoing since 2009, since the completion of the infill housing. Can the Manager also indicate if my request for the "desire line" across the green opposite numbers 38 to 36 St Aongus Crescent to be closed off pending completion of works, will be implemented? "

"That this Committee calls on the Manager to inspect Trees at No's 90/91 Killinarden Estate and 95 Killinarden Estate. Residents at these locations are fearful of the stability of the Trees as a result of their size and age and the very close proximity to the houses concerned. There is also a concern that the roots are damaging the footpaths and a shore at No 90. That these trees be removed as requested by the concerned residents".
