How many houses have been acquired to meet the needs of medical priority housing households and what other measures and funding streams are available to assist this Local Authority in meeting the housing needs of such a vulnerable cohort.
This committee requests Chief Executive to prepare a presentation to members in regards to the planned expansion of future reservoirs in the area. To show what areas all these current and future plans are going to serve.
"This Area Committee requests a presentation from the Council or a suitably qualified organisation on the Environmental Liabilities Directive and its relevance to the Habitats Directive and the protected annex habitats in the area delineated as Core Strategy 10 Rathcoole Specific Local Objective 1."

"The response to Members Reps. ID: 1656195 on 20/07/2021 stated that 'The hedging referred to is growing in private property and South Dublin County Council is obliged to issue a Notice to the property owners in this regard. This process will commence following inspection and report from the Roads Inspector'. Three months later the hedge at Floraville Cottage on the south side of the Monastery Road which is blocking the footpath has still not been trimmed. This delay suggests that there is more respect for the rights of the property owner who has not maintained the hedge versus the citizens of Clondalkin who cannot walk on the footpath because of the hedge. That this Area Committee receives an explanation for the delay with having the hedge trimmed and a timeline for how this matter will be addressed."
The response to Members rep 1628826 on 30/03/20201 stated that the Council are currently investigating the registered business owner of this building in order to write to them requesting they remove this graffiti from their building. Six months later the response to Members rep 165570 stated that 'we are currently awaiting Land Registry details so we can write to the registered owner of this building requesting the remove this graffiti as soon as possible'. That it has taken at least six months to establish ownership of 4 Main St., Clondalkin, without having yet requested them to remove the 'EDS' graffiti is a very unsatisfactory outcome. That this Area Committee receives an explanation for the delay with addressing the graffiti raised in the members reps and how this matter will be progressed."
The reply to Motion 16 at the June 2021 Clondalkin ACM stated that the kissing gate at Cappaghmore would be removed in July. See here : http://www.sdublincoco.ie/Meetings/ViewDocument/70846 To ask the Chief Executive why the kissing gate has still not been removed and when it will be?
"To ask the Chief Executive how the alien Invasive species, Japanese knotweed in the area delineated as Core Strategy 10 Rathcoole Specific Local Objective 1 will be eradicated along with controlling for other threats to the annex habitats such as garden escapees, anti-social behaviour and inappropriate land management practices and also to ask the Chief Executive to commission an ecosystem services assessment of the area delineated as Core Strategy 10 Rathcoole Specific Local Objective 1, Rathcoole Park, and Swiftbrook/Mill Race Park?"
