This motion relates to CSO10 SLO1 in the Draft Plan and submissions by all named individuals commencing with SD-C195-68 Peter Meighan on page 211 of the CE Report with recommendation commencing on page 216 Motion To amend CE Recommended Amendments to the Zoning Map for Rathcoole lands, pages numbered 216 and 217 of full CE Report by:
• Rezoning 0.25 ha of new residential along the north perimeter to 0.25 ha rural, retaining access
• Changing proposed rezoning of the area identified as 2.4 ha immature woodland on page 9 of rathcoole-land-use-concept-and-zoning, Existing Condition and Constraints Map from new residential to rural. This area has been confirmed as alluvial woodland by a survey plot (see Hodd report).

As we continue to prepare our development plan, the proposed policy/wording below is part of Environmental Assessment/Built Environment study. They relate to reuse of appropriate buildings. This committee requests that the Chief Executive explains the meaning / result of these studies, what the findings mean for the two mentioned policies below. That the manager takes the necessary steps to make the area between the rear of (Address Provided) Woodfield estate safer as it is incredibly dark and intimidating for local residents at the moment due to lack of public lighting and overgrown trees.

That this area committee requests the Chief Executive to inspect and arrange roadwork repairs to Barton Road, Rathfarnham Dublin 14 as trip hazards exist on the public road for pedestrians crossing.
This Committee asks that Chief Executive carries out further studies, by way of a survey or similar, around teen play-spaces. A recent article has highlighted were teens spaces are by default designed with equipment for males and its now asked that we look at this further and the examine how we can bring into teens spaces equipment that young females would like to see introduced and resulting in them becoming safer environment.
