"This area Committee calls for the upgrade of the Dominics Shops laneway between St Mary's Boxing Club and Barnardos/ HSE including the small green area immediately in front of St Dominic's Terrace. The laneway provides an important link between housing schemes, a community centre, sports facilities, local shops, schools, health and medical facilities and public parks and transport links. It is a busy thoroughfare and needs to be upgraded to encourage increased usage and a better approach to maintenance and confidence in high volume public areas as people are entitled. See attached photos of the laneway area as it currently is and artists impressions of how it could potentially look."
To ask the Chief Executive to consider the installation of CCTV to the rear of properties between (address provided), given the persistent and dangerous levels of violent behaviour and anti-social behaviour that continue there.
That this Area Committee calls on the Chief Executive to implement a waste management plan for Bohernabreena cemetery to include separation of recyclables within the existing bunkers, bins on site, increased maintenance and site security over and above cameras and voice recordings to tackle issues of illegal dumping and ASB late at night.
That the manager reinstates the 2 litter bin units into Sarsfield Park - One at the car park opposite 126A and the second one on the pedestrian path at the bottom of the steps leading down from Lucan Road (opposite St Joseph's).

"That this Area Committee agrees to use the powers invested in it under the Derelict Sites Act (1990) to carry out the following works to two buildings in Clondalkin and subsequently charge the costs incurred to the building owners or put an order for the retrieval of the costs upon the sale of the properties : (i) Remove the ivy from the roof of the Old RIC Barracks aka Riverside (D22 KT20) on the Old Nangor Road and (ii) fix the broken slate on the roof of the cottage on Main St (D22 KN29)."
