QUESTION: Councillor P. Gogarty

To ask the Chief Executive to outline how many pre-planning meetings have taken place between Council officials and private developers in relation to private developments of more than 10 units in Palmerstown, Lucan and North Clondalkin since last January; what these would relate to in general terms and if a statement can be made on the matter.

REPLY:

In the period between 1st January 2023 and 18 April 2023 five pre-planning meetings were carried out in relation to the housing developments in the area of Palmerstown, Lucan and North Clondalkin.  All of these meetings related to development sites within the SDZ boundaries, with four located in the Adamstown SDZ and one within the Clonburris SDZ.  Cumulatively, this is related to a total of approx. 922 dwelling units.
