To ask the manager to provide a report outlining a list of all properties pledged to SDCC for accommodation in the Palmerstown Fonthill LEA, for use by Ukrainian refugees. This report to detail how many properties have been deemed to meet suitable requirements and what percentage have been allocated to date.

That this committee agrees that given the prevalence of pressurized nitrous oxide cannisters being discarded in the Clondalkin area that South Dublin County Council advise of a safe way for their disposal when found by members of the public and to indicate what supports can be offered either by way of a public information statement or direct instruction by South Dublin County Council to help the public in the disposal of these items.

To ask the Chief Executive for an update on the proposed closure of the Tay Lane footbridge at Rathcoole and if it is proposed to put in place alternative arrangements for those that traverse the bridge on a regular basis between Rathcoole and Newcastle, particularly school children who use this route. Has a date been agreed and can SDCC confirm the duration of the closure?

That this Area Committee agrees that it is unacceptable that the proposal for a 1798 commemorative plaque at Rathcoole house has still not been finalised despite this being before council for a period of 2 years.

That this committee agrees that the storage of industrial containers and machinery on land adjacent to Camac Valley Park is not an acceptable use of this land and calls upon the manager to oppose such use of this land and for planning enforcement to instruct the land owners to desist from such use.
