To ask the Manager to report on what estates in the Lucan area have not been included in the Junk Collection Service in the last five years, and will he please ensure that all such estates which have not been included in the last five five years are prioritised for the 2006 Junk Collection Service.
To ask the Manager to report on the Christmas Tree Collection Service for this Christmas. Given the anti-social acts of setting fire to many Christmas Trees which were awaiting collection on local greens and open spaces, including in Beech Park and Hillcrest in Lucan, and Woodfarm in Palmerstown, and given the serious inconvenience and threat to the safety of Local Residents living nearby, would the Manager agree to explore alternative collection points for Christmas Trees for next year so that this invaluable and much appreciated service can be maintained by the Council without causing the same stress to local Residents who live in close proximity to greens and open spaces.
