"To ask the Manager what discussions have taken place with his Department and the Department of Education and Science in connection with a proposal to erect railings at Tynan Hall in Kingswood Heights, following a decision by the Department to provide funding for this project as a means of helping the local community to deter anti-social elements from accessing the Department's lands, when the railings in question will be erected and if he will make a statement on the matter?"

The Mayor Councillor Therese Ridge, on foot of requisition signed by more than five Members and submitted in accordance with Section 6(c) of Schedule 10 of the Local Government Act 2001, has called a special meeting of the Council at 3.30 p.m. on Thursday 18th August in the Council Chamber to discuss the following motion:

"That the Mayor or Deputy Mayor of South Dublin County Council calls a special meeting within seven days, to discuss the serious road problems which are in Rathcoole and surrounding area, which have become a serious threat to life."

To ask the Manager what he proposes to do about the flooding in front of the rain water run-off from behind the Bus Stop situated between the two roundabouts at Glenview.

"To ask the Manager to outline the nature of the shopping/commercial development proposed for Citywest which will service the new residential areas of Carrigmore, Verschoyle, Saggart Abbey and Corbally and if he will make a statement on the matter?"

"In answer to a question at the Nov 2004 meeting it was stated that the lane at the back of the 80s on Tymonville Road would be closed except for the 1st two houses. Could an indication be given as to the likely timeframe for this to be completed?"
