That the Manager gives an update on what progress has been made in the provision of a Community Centre beside Lucan Educate Together School as residents in surrounding estates would benefit greatly from such a facility being provided as soon as possible.

That the Manager undertakes a public information campaign relating to the law governing the control of dogs, and in particular restricted breeds, within the Lucan, Palmerstown and Clondalkin areas. In association with this could steps be taken to ensure that the excellent Dog Warden service is given the resources to become more visible within the area and that members receive regular updates as to the number of fines issued by the wardens.

That the Lucan-Clondalkin Area Committee welcomes the adoption by the Council of the Water Leisure Strategy, in particular the recommendation for a Public Swimming Pool in Lucan and asks the Manager if he can clarify the following two issues: (1) will the Council's Three Year Capital Budget for 2006- 2008 be amended to include financial provision in each year for the Lucan Pool project and (2) Is the implementation of the project dependent on the reopening of the Government's Swimming Pools Programme and the receipt by the Council of finance for the Lucan Pool from that Programme?
