To ask the Manager to report on the huge delays being experienced by residents in terms of the delivery of new green bins by Oxygen and to state what efforts are being made to ensure residents aren't waiting up to a year for their green bins which obviously inhibits their recycling capability?

To ask the Manager to state the Council's position in relation to the responsibility of tenants for the boundary walls of their rented council properties, as tenants can not insure these walls against damage as these walls are in the ownership of the Council and therefore would have to endure large expenses to ensure the walls are fixed or maintained in the event of a collapse?

"That the Manager carry out an inspection of the laneway that is servicing as the entrance to the Builders Yard at the rear of Muckross Grove (entrance off Muckross Avenue) which is collapsing under the weight of the industrial trucks delivering building materials to the yard, the surface of which is disintergrating and to ascertain if this is a hazard to the services laid under the laneway as this matter is of great concern to residents in the area. "

That this Committee call on the Manager to bring forward proposals for the upgrade of Kennelsfort Road Upper, from the Coldcut Road junction to the N4, and submit it as a matter of urgency for funding under the Urban Renewal Programme, or another relevant scheme.  Can he consult with the local Community Council, residents of Kennelsfort Rd and with relevant local business interests along Kennelsfort Road to have the road at a standard that is reflective of the fact that it is the main artery of this settled community.

That South Dublin County Council carry out a survey of the back lane network in Palmerstown with a view to securing them in such a manner that they will no longer be available for illegal dumping and/or for unsocial activities.  The present situation is a source of ongoing and severe trauma for adjacent residents as well as a drain on scarce Council and Garda resources and frustrating for the whole Community.

"That the Manager examine the parking problems in Whitehall Close as residents are concerned about a recent occasion when an Ambulance could not reach the home of a very ill person because of cars blocking  the road and to ask the Manager to look at (a) the feasibility of installing double yellow lines on one side of the road or (b) providing additional parking by removing the grass verges."
