To ask the Manager if items other than bottles, but made from the same plastics (e.g. supermarket deli boxes made from clear PET), can be placed in Green bins, and will he list the acceptable plastics together with their recycling code number (e.g. PET 01)?
To ask the Manager to monitor the car parking facilities at Glenaulin Park and to recommend how patrons of the park can be accommodated without causing inconvenience to local residents and to include in his answer the feasibility of having (linear) car parking off the Glenaulin Road?
To ask the Manager for a progress report on the Lucan Swimming Pool project and if any progress can be reported on the motion passed in 2007 that the Council will provide a suitable track for quads and motorcyclist enthusiasts?
To ask the Manager if the owners of lands at Primrose Lane, Lucan, which are the subject of a Local Zoning Objective for the provision of sheltered housing in the current County Development Plan, have put forward any proposals to the Council?
To ask the Manager when Wheatfield Road, Palmerstown, last had a junk collection, and if a junk collection can be scheduled for this road for 2008?
To ask the Manager to have the shrubs on the open space at Palmerstown Lawns removed as they are becoming a haven for anti-social behaviour with persons hopping over the wall into the Cemetery when challenged. And if the Council would again approach the adjoining houses to incorporate this piece of land into their gardens?
To ask the Manager for an updated report on my recent proposal to have a special meeting, in committee, of Lucan and Clondalkin Councillors to discuss matters relating to the Council's ongoing housing scheme in Balgaddy?
To ask the Manager if he will request the Community Services Department to organise Family Days during this Summer in Hermitage Park, Lucan and Quarryvale Park, Clondalkin?
To ask the Manager to restore the wall between the Cemetery and the open space next to the M50 and Palmerstown Manor as I requested in 2004 and to secure the boundary between the same open space on Palmerstown Manor and the Coldcut Road as both of these are providing a route for persons engaged in anti-social activities. Now that the M50 works and boundary treatment are nearing completion it is an effective opportunity to frustrate the traditional anti-social activities that have grown up along these boundaries?
