To ask the Manager if he can advise the Committee of the measures taken to ensure compliance with all aspects of the Planning Permission SDZ 07A/0001 at The Paddocks where the development backs on to Meadow View Grove, Lucan and if he will provide an updated report on the measures?
To ask the Manager if he will arrange for an evaluation of the operation and settings of the MOVA system controlling traffic signals in the vicinity of the N4/ORR junction at Woodies, the ORR/Ballyowen and St Loman's Road junction, and if the evaluation can address particularly the back-up of traffic along St. Loman's Road/Ballyowen Road which has worsened in recent weeks and now often reaches back to the roundabout on the Fonthill Road?
To ask the Manager if temporary measures to mitigate noise and preserve privacy can be implemented during the N4 improvements at the boundary of the N4 with Hillcrest Estate, backing on to Hillcrest Drive, as the removal of trees etc. and other work associate with the N4 contract is causing problems for residents, and if the Manager will make a report on when appropriate temporary measures could be implemented?
That this Committee requests the Manager to write to the ESB seeking a meeting with ESB Officials to discuss proposals for the removal of overhead power lines and their placing underground.

PROVISION OF SCHOOL WARDENS
That the Manager would provide a full report on the progress towards dealing with litter blackspots in Clondalkin as identified at the April meeting with special reference to the dreadful state of the area behind the bus stop beside the Council premises on Orchard Road.
A report on Garda numbers in Clondalkin (Clondalkin & Ronanstown) and how those numbers could be increased.
That the Area Committee requests the Manager to arrange for an informal meeting, in Committee, of the Planning Department and other appropriate officials with Lucan-Clondalkin Councillors before the end of September and before formal work on the next County Development Plan has begun.
A request for CCTV for the area between Monastery Gate Estate and the M50.
That the Manager would provide an explanation as to why the area at the front of Monastery Gate Estate close to the railings by the Shalimar Apartments is not maintained by the Council - this has led to a build up of rubbish in the area and an overgrown and unattractive appearance of the general green area.
That this Committee requests the Manager to take all actions, including implementation of statutory procedures, to ensure that a School Warden service, and other road safety measures recommended by the Traffic Management Section to improve road safety in the vicinity of Griffeen Valley Educate Together Primary School are in place for the start of the new school year in September.
That the Manager would report in detail on the boundary treatment to be provided on the N4 on the northern side, from the N4/M50 roundabout to the Deadman's Inn? Following my earlier representations, including to this meeting of 16th January 2008, where the Manager's Reply included that "A noise barrier 1.8 metres in height will be erected along the northern grass verge of the eastbound N4 Lucan Bypass carriageway from the Deadman's Inn to the Kings Hospital", when subsequently a long shuttered concrete wall has been erected opposite this location on the southern side of the N4 where there are no residents living. That this Committee requests the Manager to ensure that a wall is installed at this location on the northern side of the N4 from the M50/N4 roundabout to the Deadman's Inn.
That the Manager and all involved are congratulated on the successful completion of the new bridge on the Neilstown Road/Ninth Lock Road and to ask the Manager to assess the need for speed ramps or other safety measures close to the newly opened bridge on the Neilstown Road/Ninth Lock Road in view of reports of increased speeds along this stretch of road.
That the Manager would report in detail on how local residents will have their homes, garden walls etc., protected, who are in such close proximity to, yet deemed to be "outside the scheme" of the N4 Road Widening Works, including for example, Beaumont Cottage, Lucan.
