That the Manager responsible initiate the process for closing the right of way on the laneway to the rear of house No 72 to house No 86, Turret Road which links Glenmaroon Road to Wheatfield Road and to subsequently gate it in accordance with the written intentions and requests from the residents concerned on Turret Road, Glenmaroon Road and Wheatfield Road.
That this Committee requests the Manager to agree to include appropriate directional gantry signage on the N4 for the Spa Hotel, Lucan. The Spa Hotel, a local institution and support base for many voluntary and charitable local organisations has suffered greatly on foot of the intensive N4 Road Widening Works at its entrance for some months but continues to service the local community and maintain its current staffing levels. Appropriate gantry signage would be off assistance in this respect.
That this Committee calls on the Manager responsible to prepare and implement a Part 8 consultation for a traffic management scheme (for submission to An Bord Pleanála) that will provide for a left out onto the N4 at Esker Lane, Lucan.
