That this Council sets in train meetings between M50 Concessions, the NRA, the Parks, Roads and Environmental Services Department of this Council to devise environmentally firiendly solutions to combat the imposition of a series of fifty to sixty foot high motorway gantry signs adjacent to residential estates in Knocklyon, the effects of which is to cause an even greater devaluation of properties, to totally reverse the aspect from the estates to the Dublin hills and to cause unecessary additional health and safety hazards within the estates in question.
That this Council commits to investigate the posssibilities open to residents for redress owing to having been severely, regularly and over a period of several months, been discommoded by motorway construction noise, tremors, sirens, night works, sirens, and more, during the construction of the upgraded M50.

ROADS AFFECTED BY THE ADVERSE WEATHER.
To thank the Manager for agreeing to my longstanding requests to review the road widening works on the N4 and Outer Ring Road in Lucan, at the December '09 Lucan/Clondalkin Area Committee Meeting and at the January '10 Council meeting, and for agreeing to introduce noise monitors in estates on these 2 roads, and for further agreeing to discuss and agree the location for the placing of these noise monitors through a prior agreed process at a future Lucan/Clondalkin Area Committee of the Road's Department. Will the Manager agree to begin this process with a preliminary discussion at the March '10 Area Committee meeting of the Road's Department?
To ask the Manager to provide and up-to-date report on the work of the Road's Department over the last number of years, in an effort to reduce traffic congestion, including in the Lucan area, particularly at peak times. Specifically will the Manager report on the ongoing efforts to reduce peak-time traffic congestion, by introducing the Pilot Project for School Transportation, given work carried out by the previous Transport Strategic Policy Committee, noting the obvious advantages this pilot project will have for Lucan if supported of the Minister for Transport?
To ask the Manager to liaise with the Manager in the Community Department on planning and enforcement issues relating to the building of the Palmerstown Community Centre. Specifically will the Manager report in detail on what progress has been made in identifying planning and enforcement issues at this particular stage, as per my specific request and agreement given to my request, at the recent on-site meeting convened in this building, whereby any aspects of the development which are not considered completed to the satisfaction of the local authority will be noted and listed as part of the reply to this question? Would the Manager also report in detail as to how this Council proposes that any of such outstanding issues can be resolved?
To ask the Manager to report in detail on efforts being made to prevent the growing number of incidents of anti-social behaviour in our parks, specifically in Griffeen Valley Park. Would the Manager report on what measures he will introduce that will alleviate such pressures on families who, for example are experiencing theft of bins in estates adjoining the park, including through gates leading into the park, that could perhaps with careful management be closed and locked at night-time, and which may prevent such events occurring?
