To ask the Manager to arrange as a matter of priority a cleanup of the grass verges and central median on the N7 south of the Red Cow Luas bridge as far as the county boundary? Pruning, grass cutting and a litter pickup are badly needed on a major gateway route.

"To ask the Manager if there has been a response to the many requests made to the Bank of Ireland by the Law Department re the transfer of the road at Hermitage view to SDCC with a view to taking it in charge. We have impressed upon them the seriousness of the situation. The roads department cannot upgrade this work until this is rectified. Any update on this please, and if not what is the next step, taking into consideration the Bank of Ireland have been written to many times?"

"That this Committee discusses the 'problems' (dumping/rats/general condition etc.) encountered by some residents in Whiteclilffe backing open space /road reservation on Whitechurch Road - please investigate this 'prior to our area meeting'  and come forward with proposals on what action can be taken to ensure this area is  maintained . It may be an option to have it incorporated into the rear gardens of those houses. This is a reoccuring and major health problem for Residents there and must be addressed."
