That this Committee strongly recommends a form of action plan to address works on the Nangor Road (from the Tower Road to the Fonthill Road junctions) as follows-

A thorough litter pick followed by including this stretch on a regular routine cleaning schedule.

1. The removal of all weeds along the pathway followed by a weed control plan to prevent them re-appearing as before.
2. Enforcing CPM to control overgrowth from their lands out on to the public footpath and rectification works to the perimeter fencing.
3. Remove all green growth, restore and protect for the future the old stone walling along this stretch including both sides of the potentially attractive Camac Bridge.
4. Restore and protect the two water pumps as attractive features.
5. Installation of bins along this route to capture both significant school and shopper traffic.
