That the Manager arranges for immediate inspection of lands in Council ownership to the rear of St Aidan's Traveller Accommodation adjacent to the new Luas stop at Fortunestown and to the rear of Kilmartin Estate in Fettercairn alongside the Luas tracks with a view to ascertaining if these lands are in breach of any legislation relevant to Planning and Development.

That the Parks sub-committee of this Joint Committee include in their study, the Park area below Rathfarnham Village at Church Lane down to the R112 road and the wooded hill area behind Brookvale to provide a plan with the Gardai and the Parks Department to stop the major anti social behaviour of youngsters there.
That this Council fully endorses and supports the Council’s Social Credit Scheme which rewards community groups who improve their environment by carrying out pro-environmental actions, and asks that the Manager outline her proposals to ensure that sufficient resources are in place to ensure that the scheme can continue to bring benefits to our communities particularly in light of the proactive approach being taken at local level in environmental initiates such as Tidy Towns etc.

To ask can the Manager please state if there were outside consultants employed in the sale/disposal of the waste collection business by South Dublin County Council, if so how much was spent on those consultants, were there legal fees associated with the sale and how much were those legal fees?
