"That the Manager examine the suggestion from Rathfarnham Traders/Tidy Village representatives that the first three or four parking spaces on the eastern side of the village at the northern entrance (opposite the entrance to the graveyard and outside the Credit Union) could be examined for removal as they actually block two lane movement in and out of the village.  If the first three or four spaces were removed traffic would flow more easily into the village."

To ask the Manager, noting Question 21 and Reply at the Council Meeting of 13th May 2013 regarding the possibility of funding from the Eropean Council Youth Guarantee Programme, if the Council has yet received guidelines from the Department of Social Protection on the implementation of the scheme, and if the Council has received any clarification on the possibiity of it accessing finance from the Scheme to run Social Employment Programmes for unemployed residents of the County under 25 years of age?

That this Council expresses its deep concern regarding reports on the distribution of revenue from the Local Property Tax and calls on the Government to allocate funding to all local authorities based on the 80% allocation model, as proposed during its introduction.
