QUESTION: Councillor A.M. Dermody

"To ask the Manager to carry out an assessment of the trees on Ballyroan Crescent outside the following houses (Address supplied) to assess if these trees need to be cut back and where they to that they be included in the Arboricultural programme?"

REPLY:

The pruning of trees at Ballyroan Crescent is included in the Winter tree works programme for the area - the work will, however be subject to the provision of ESB power switch outs, as many of the trees are affected by overhead power lines. An assessment of the trees outside the specific addresses provided  will be carried out and if deemed necessary, these will be included in the current programme.
