Report on Village Improvements Plan Projects
To ask the Chief Executive to list all the schools which are currently located within temporary accommodation in the County and provide a detailed report on any discussions which have taken place with the Department of Education in order to move the listed schools to permanent accommodation?
To ask the Chief Executive how many horses have been impounded in the Clondalkin area over the summer period from April 1st to September 1st and at what cost thus far has this surmounted to from the period stated?
Given the difficulties being experienced by residents in Floraville, St Anthony's Avenue and other parts of Clondalkin at school opening and closing times, by parents dropping off and collecting children obstructing driveways and damaging grass verges and obstructing the school entrance by illegal parking, could the Chief Executive present a report on what can be done to address this problem.
That this Committee calls on the Chief Executive to arrange a complete clean-up of the Laneway located at the rear of Maelruans Park and backs on to St Dominics School. And also that the Chief Executive will arrange that this laneway is added to the regular cleansing schedule of the Council.
That this area committee clarify and revisit the poster ban which was put in place a number of years ago in the centre of the village. This was a gentleman's agreement which should be revisited according to the new composition of the area committee.
To ask the Chief Executive to report on actions being taken throughout the County with the menace of Dog Fouling?
To ask the CEO to outline actions being taken by the Council to deal with the growing problem of "Cars for Sale" signs which are now creating much concern in the County?
To ask the Chief Executive to report to the Council on plans for the regeneration of our Villages?
To ask the Chief Executive to report on plans for Playspace facilities throughout the County?
To ask the CEO to report on any contact and discussions he has had with the Department of Environment and Local Government in respect of the need for a new Tenant Purchase Scheme?
That this Council writes to the Minister for the Environment asking him to review the Litter Pollution Act with a view to significantly increasing on-the-spot fines on a rising scale for a range of offences with a corresponding increase in fines administered in court by a judge; and furthermore, in line with the existing provisions of the Litter Pollution Act, immediately carries out a review of its own litter management plan, in consultation with councillors, to see what amendments can be made through enforcement, education and creativity within the existing legislation to reduce the scourge of littering and illegal dumping in the county.
As part of Health and Well Being Week 2014 this Council calls on the relevant Department (Community Services) to initiate an open forum, in Tallaght, on the Direct Provision Programme and invite occupants from Direct Provision Centres in the county and beyond to speak on their experience of said programme. Invitations should be extended in advance of the scheduled event in Tallaght Stadium on September 29th

That this Council confirms its strong support for the campaign to stop the proposed closure, by the Courts Service, of Tallaght Courthouse.

To ask the Chief Executive to provide a report detailing actions taken by the Council following the Newcastle Lyons/Ballynakelly Lyons residents deputation earlier this year and a time line for implementing the various requests made by the residents during the deputation?
To ask the Chief Executive to provide a report on issues in Balgaddy detailing the following:
- the number of maintenance requests recieved by estate in 2012, 2013 and to date in 2014?
- the number of of damp/condensation related maintenance requests by estate in 2012, 2013 and to date in 2014?
- the total cost of responding to maintenance requests by estate in 2012, 2013 and to date in 2014?
- the total number of reports of anti social behaviour by estate per month in 2012, 2013 and 2014?
- the total number of house visits by anti social response staff by estate per month in 2012, 2013 and 2014?
