"Could a report be presented on the extent to which the noise screening panels at the Green Isle Road are obscuring the view for drivers at this location. Drivers seeking to exit the green isle road cannot see cars coming at speed off the N7 until it is too late. There have been several near misses at this location and it is probably necessary to remove some more of the panels."

To promote the Development of Tourist Friendly attractions such as Angling Villages where possible with appropriate Lodge Style accommodation for overnight Holidays and "club house" in close proximity to appropriate water Courses at an appropriate scale of Development having respect for the pertaining environmental Conditions and sensitivities, scenic amenity and availability of Services.
That this Tallaght Area Committee calls on the Chief Executive to present a full report on plans he announced recently in respect of 63 Apartments at Tallaght Cross, detailing the schedule being followed in respect of the occupation of the accommodation, confirming how families are being chosen for the apartments and confirming what resources and supports are being made available to these families.
That this Tallaght Area Committee calls on the Chief Executive to detail actions being taken and proposed to deal with the serious litter/graffiti problem in the Tallaght area and will he also confirm if any prosecutions have been pursued in respect of the issue in 2015.
Economic Development: Rezoning No CK2
To Reinstate the employment land use zoning as illustrated on the attached maps on lands at Baldonnell Business Park, as previously introduced through Variation No. 2 of the 2010-2016 County Development Plan which was widely debated with the elected members, the Minister for Defence, the Department of Defence in addition to the public consultation process.
To include a new Specific Local Objective for the lands at Moneenalion Commons, Baldonnell that ensures any new Development will be subject to a site specific flood risk assessment and Mitigation Strategy.
Economic Development & Housing:
That a Local Area Plan be initiated for the Community of Kingswood (Naas Rd) with a view to the sustainability of this Community being protected and which provides for retail and other Commercial opportunities and amenities, Community facilities, Employment opportunities and Connectivity to the adjoining residential and commercial areas.
Urban Centres and Retailing - Additional Objective:
UC1 Objective 8: To improve access to the Village, District and Local Centres of the County by "Disability proofing" all access and exit routes to and from these areas.
Transport & Mobility:
To amend TM3 SLO 1 to read " To provide for a pedestrian Bridge over the N7 at the Barney's Lane junction to improve access to the Saggart Luas Terminus and to retain the six year Road Objective to Link Baldonnell Road to the Citywest interchange".
TM Policy 6 Road and street design - additional Objective:
TM6 Objective 4:
That "Jakes Law" be enforced which restricts vehicular speed limits to 20km in all built up residential areas with a view to ensuring the protection of vulnerable Road users particularly child pedestrians.
11.4.2 Car Parking Standards. Table 11.23 Maximum Parking rates:
Enterprise & Employment (offices & manufacturing). revert to current standards of 4per 100sqm or 2 per 50sqm to ensure the retention of the competitive edge for the County that currently exists in attracting this form of employment to the area.
That the manager would consider an objective to work with local Running/athletic clubs to prioritise the upgrade of footpaths, lighting public realm maintenance and signage on public roads/paths that are being used by clubs who do not have access to running tracks
