Proposed Declaration of Roads to be Public Roads (No business received)
"Following my motion passed in January 2015, at the OP&F (Item 42233) that this Council arranges a meeting with Liffey Sounds FM to discuss what plans can be made to progress the development of the Radio Station."
"That this Council assist and support Liffey Sounds FM with the extension of their broadcasting range/area to include Palmerstown and Clondalkin, to include financial assistance (if required) and support with setting it up as a larger radio station. This would allow a very successful local community radio station expand, benefiting a greater area within the county and making the station more sustainable with a potentially larger listener base."
"Following the success of the fitness equipment in our parks could the manger consider installing similar equipment in the Lucan area which are designed for children and therefore encouraging children to get involved in wellbeing / fitness in a fun environment."
"That the Chief Executive revert with an update on repair works and monitoring at the Multi Use Games Area beside Hermitage Park and Esker Celtic clubhouse"

"That the Chief Executive provide a report today on the Dublin Noise Agglomoration Action Plan, given that the consultant provided raw data and an interim report to the Council a week before the last ACM, and in particular provide the figures pertaining to the area adjacent to Moy Glas Estate and to outline what actions are planned on foot of this."
"That this Committee recognising that Kennelsfort Road Upper and the roads between Kennelsfort Road Upper and the R148 are already carrying excessive levels of motorised traffic, mainly but not solely commuter traffic and increasingly Liffey Valley Town Centre Traffic (which will increase when the expansion of the Liffey Valley Town Centre takes place) especially at peak times leading to serious congestion; that these roads already suffer from excessive attendant noise and air pollution and that these roads pose an unacceptable level of safety hazards for residents, pedestrians and cyclists in what is a priora a residential area, hereby calls on the CEO to restrict for access only Heavy Goods Vehicles (C) and Heavy (medium) Goods Vehicles (C1 or C!+E) and permit only, private cars and small vans of less than 3.5 tonne carrying capacity and Public Vehicles on these roads."
"That this Council further examines schools which don’t currently have a traffic warden in place to and to provide the necessary safety measures where it is deemed inadequate.
These schools include:
1 St. John The Evangelist National School
2 Adamstown Castle
These two schools are located close to each other. Immediate attention to be considered as follows:
The existing signs only face one way. Additional signs should be installed in both directions. The existing yellow road markings need to be re painted. Request that the grey railings directly outside the school entrance are painted yellow and black to highlight that it is school safety zone. The damaged pathway/cycle way outside staff car should be repaired.
3 Gael Scoil Esker Riada
4 Lucan Educate Together National School.
Request that the grey railings outside the school railings are painted yellow and black to highlight that it is a school safety zone. Request that double yellow lines are laid on the bends in the area of the school and school signage is installed.
5 Esker Educate Together School
TREE MANAGEMENT POLICY
That this Council calls for a reduction in the VAT rate on NEW residential construction from 13.5% to 9% to reduce house prices and stimulate residential construction.
To call on the Chief Executive for a scheme be developed where the council addresses the issue of graffiti removal in the cases of private properties facing out onto public areas? In many instances owners do not have the money or expertise to remove the graffiti themselves and I feel it is appropriate for the council to take this on as a responsibility.
There are many houses, schools, churches in our county which suffer greatly from the blight of graffiti and do not have the resources needed to repeatedly deal with it. When graffiti is then left on these walls the whole community suffers because the area is left unsightly.
