To ask the Chief Executive to give a report on the current state of homelessness in the county, including the number of families and single people on the list, and how this has changed since Tallaght Cross opened, the placement of families in Tallaght Cross in rented accomodation through HAPS, and the number of families being turned away due to lack of homeless accomodation places.

"That the Chief Executive report on all issues regarding what role if any it has in facilitating the construction of a sports hall at Adamstown, which while much needed for Adamstown Community College and the wider community is now also holding up the provision of further phased construction and related facilities on these serviced lands in the midst of a housing crisis; to clarify whether it can negotiate with any developer while court proceedings are initiated by the ETB; to clarify whether it views the provision of covering the costs upfront (assuming the developer cannot get funding for same) as primarily within its remit, or whether this is largely a matter for the ETB and by implication the line Minister; to outline whether any communications were received (since the summer and by the time of this motion being submitted) from the Minister for the Environment, the Minister for Education, or indeed any Minister, outlining concerns about the delay in progress on the SDZ; and if he will make a statement on the matter."

"That the Chief Executive reports on its response during the recent summer months to minimise anti-social behaviour and make our public parks in Lucan and Palmerstown safer including in particular focusing on Waterstown Park (Quad bikes), Hermitage Park (playspace) and Glenaulin Park (motorbikes); to outline what successes have been achieved, what lessons have been learned and what additional resources can and should be allocated from either a Council and/or Garda and/or voluntary civilian perspective to enhance people's enjoyment of these facilities in the coming months and years and if he will make a statement on the matter."

"That the Chief Executive reviews the current situation of traffic management, road layout and road markings along Lucan Road between the traffic lights on Chapel Hill and the entrance to Roselawn now that St Andrew's NS has been open long enough to assess what further measures, if any, are required to ensure safe access to and from the school for children, along with safe access and drop-off points for parents and teachers; safe access to and from Colaiste Padraig for the students of that school; safe access to and usage of the relocated bus stop on the school side of the road; and access issues for residents of Roselawn/Ballydowd and Chalet Gardens; including a site meeting if requested by a number of Councillors; and if he will make a statement on the matter."

"To ask the Chief Executive when a replacement lollipop person will be provided at St Aonghusa Senior School, Tymon North. The entrance into the school is quite a dangerous spot and I have been contacted by residents complaining that no plan seems to be in place to provide cover once the current lollipop lady leaves the position".

"To ask the Chief Executive if grass cutting can please be scheduled on both sides of the Partas Centre at Bolbrook and also along the Whitestown stream from the Seskinview Road end to the railings? This area has become totally overgrown and while I understand that some of these meadows are to create bio-diversity within the county, this overgrowth has totally covered over the stream."

"Also, to ask the Chief Executive if the Bolbrook bridge can be scheduled for painting and repairs in this area too. The bars on the bridge have become rusted and are taking away from the general appearance of the area."

That this Committee asks the Chief Executive to report on the serious risk to health and safety at the new road lay out at Springfield in Tallaght . The new road lay out will create a serious risk to health and safety due to the close nature of sporting games been played at St Marks GAA Club. The pitches are very close to the roadway and a curtain net will be required to stop cars been hit with football and slitters when games are taking place at this venue.

"To ask the Chief Executive to look into the Belgard Luas area and to put in a yellow box in front of Cookstown Lane to prevent the junction been blocked for traffic turning in to the lane and causing a problem for cars behind, blocking the luas tracks while waiting on cars to turn into the Cookstown Lane".
