"This committee agrees that South Dublin County Council does not adopt the policy of the “Open Library” in both existing and yet to be opened libraries. The library represents one of the few remaining open, democratic and free public spaces available in our county and an unstaffed library will negatively impact this service."

"That this Tallaght Area Committee calls on the Chief Executive to present a full report on the Council's dealings with the developer of the Amazon site on Belgard Road, detailing the conditions under which a licence for the works was given and in reporting will the Chief Executive appreciate that the works had a negative impact on the local community particularly where traffic congestion created much delays especially on Mayberry Road and indeed in surrounding areas and will he also explain why the Council left it to the developer to liase with the public in respect of the problems and will he now also state when he expects all the works to be completed."

"The Woodford clean up group does great work and leaves the bagged rubbish it collects at Boomers to be collected by the council.  However, those bags are being added to with bags of domestic rubbish to such an extent that the group would like the source of these bags to be investigated.  Could this be done please."

"This committee agrees that a much improved transportation infra structure needs to be in place to service the proposed large housing development at Grange Castle  / Corkagh on the outer ring road.  This infrastructure should include improved bus service to the city centre and comprehensive bus links to the Luas stations at nearby citywest/ saggart and to the railway line at Kishogue and/ or Clondalkin station.  That this improved transport infra structure should be cooperfastened as a pre requisite for planning of such a large scale development."

"This committee agrees that an overall plan to address anti social behaviour such as dumping, use of scramblers and other joy riding be put in place in tandem with the planning process for the rapid build houses in St Cuthbert's park and that the building of these houses should not commence until this long requested plan is formulated and commenced."

"This committee requests that a cctv camera be installed at St John's Road / Commons Road to assist the Litter Warden who has been doing excellent work in trying to address the issue of very large scale dumping at this location.  

And also that boulders be installed at this location to prevent vehicles from reversing up this cul de sac and covertly dumping."
