"That this Area Committee calls on the Chief Executive to include provision in the 2018 road works programme for measures to improve footpaths and safe routes to schools along Lucan Road, including as requested in previous motions 53929 & 54414; along with the provision of additional bollards be installed to prevent parking inside the new hedge at the corner at the entrance to Ballydowd Grove as vehicles are still pulling into this area blocking the footpath and sightlines for motorists exiting Ballydowd Grove and posing risks to pedestrians and cyclists."

"That this Area Committee requests the Chief Executive to meet with residents of Esker Meadows View to review the planned location of traffic calming; and to further request that the proposed bus cushions are replaced with full road-width ramps noting that this cul-de-sac is not used by Dublin Bus services but is subject to regular speeding including dangerous high-speed driving behaviour by ‘boy racers’."

"As a follow up to my question at the October meeting (Q 24) to ask the Chief Executive for a report on the recently renovated Childrens' Play Area in the Griffeen Valley Park. Local residents and dog walkers continue to complain about the results of vandalism on this beautiful play area. To include in the report how many times the fence at this location has been damaged, the cost of repairs and what action the Council has taken to address the vandalis and that the Chief Executive make a statement on the matter?"
