"This committee acknowledges the ongoing efforts by Lucan Tidy Towns and Adamstown Tidy Towns, and in so doing agrees to a letter of commendation and public acknowledgement to all those involved. Immense efforts by volunteers and indeed with the support of council staff, have led to a branch of multiple initiatives being realised, including bulb planting, identyfing mini-woodland sites and the fantastic recent joint clean-up venture with the Lucan Kayak Club, to remove litter pollution in the Liffey using kayaks."
