"That this Area Committee requests that Orlagh Park and Knockfield Manor be added to the footpath repair programme. The footpaths in both locations are in a significant state of disrepair and given the proximity to Beverly Estate (Orlagh Park is located in Beverly Estate) it would be my opinion that it would be more prudent to include all as part of the current works in the locality."

"That this Committee agrees that a full tree survey of the Oatfield estate is carried out and all appropriate works deemed necessary are completed prior to the beginning of any footpath upgrades. It is illogical that any work would be done to footpaths, and monies misspent, if the footpaths are going to be damaged by problem trees."

That this Area Committee writes to the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport, outlining this Council's Six Year Roads Objective in the Development Plan for a grade separated junction at Kennelsfort Road/R148 interchange and requests meetings with officials from his Department to identify potential funding streams for this key objective which are vitally needed to manage traffic flows towards the city centre and to revitalise the Palmerstown village area in terms of retail, tourism and heritage; there being no way of leveraging funding from the NTA or TII following this section of the N4's downgrading as a national route by the then Minister for Transport Leo Varadkar in 2012.
