Motion from Cllr. T. Gilligan referred to SPC by Council

"That this Council introduces its own local currency, in conjunction with local businesses, that woud be acceptable as payment for rents, NPPR, bin charges and that would be backed by hard commodities - such as allotments, food energy, agriculture...  The currency would not be pegged to any other currency USD/EUR/GBP but would be exchangable for those currencies.  The currency would be used alongside the EURO."
