This committee calls on the Manager to write to the owners of a site on Killinarden Heights to highlight concerns of the Members at the incursion of the site by motorbikes/quads in order to address the concerns of local residents who are considerably impacted by this activity on a daily basis in terms of noise pollution, destruction of green space and pedestrian safety etc. and to ask what measures they intend to take to secure this site against such activity.

That this committee supports the hosting of an informal reception for the two students, Matthew Carpenter and Karl Ussher who were hailed as heroes by local papers and the public at large for intervening in the attack on a bus driver in Cork street on the weekend of the 11th January and the matter be discussed.
