"That this Area Committee agrees to support efforts by residents within our suburbs to facilitate off road parking and for South Dublin County Council  to actively engage in a policy to promote this objective. Chapter 3. P62 Section 3.1: Heritage in South Dublin County The County's rich built heritage assets contribute to our understanding and appreciation of the past and make a valuable contribution to the character and visual amenity of the County as well as to sustainability and climate action through their continued use and adaptation. It is therefore essential to safeguard for future generations the many and varied components of our built heritage including our protected structures, architectural conservation areas, country houses and estates and vernacular buildings. Amend to include the words "review and" in the second sentence as shown below. The County's rich built heritage assets contribute to our understanding and appreciation of the past and make a valuable contribution to the character and visual amenity of the County as well as to sustainability and climate action through their continued use and adaptation. It is therefore essential to review and safeguard for future generations the many and varied components of our built heritage including our protected structures, architectural conservation areas, country houses and estates and vernacular buildings.
