That this Area Committee calls on the Chief Executive to undertake a survey to identify works needed around corner of Peamount Road and to lease with a local wheelchair user in identifying any issues with him being able to get around independently with his wheelchair and to follow up with a plan to address the issues.
That this Area Committee calls on the Chief Executive to investigate what can be done about installing public lighting near Boomers Pub at the footpath that goes from the bus stop down to Woodford and also the footpath that leads from Knockmitten Community Centre down to Monastery through Knockmitten Park- both have been raised as safety issues by local Residents.
Parking in City West - Update
To ask the chief executive for a report in tabular form detailing the number of fines issued by the litter warden (by LEA) in 2022 YTD for illegal dumping / littering, referencing the number of Members Reps, Fix Your Street reports (up to the recent end of the scheme) and Environmental Complaints.
That this Council writes to the Minister for Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth requesting that all childcare providers register for and be in a position to provide NCS-subsidised hours for at least 50% of children in their care.

That the Chief Executive, notwithstanding that congestion has naturally increased and will continue to increase, carries out a full road safety and traffic flow audit of the Newcastle Road and in particular the following areas: - The stretch southwards from Lucan Harriers car park to the junction with the L1030, which is subject to bus lane being used by vehicles to slip ahead of cars queuing in the correct lane and also cars leapfrogging the longer queue to get ahead of other vehicles by using the yellow box; - The junction with Hillcrest where an optimum solution has yet to be found in terms of evening traffic being able to turn right into the estate without blocking the road and facilitating exit from the estate without clogging up the Newcastle Road/N4 junction thus trapping cars for multiple traffic light sequences at Esker church on occasion; and reports back to members with proposed solutions to ensure optimum flow and safe use of this busy corridor.
