To ask the Chief Executive for an update of the electric gates at Griffeen park Newcastle road and Haydend lane, to include mechanism to be used.
To ask the manager of all of the houses affected in the county by sewage waste following 09/05/2023 how many had been awaiting Irish Water to fix an existing issue regarding this matter
To ask the manager how many incidents were reported across the county of peoples gardens being flooded with sewage following the heavy rainfall on 09/05/2023
To ask the Chief Executive to outline possible funding avenues available for the following in Saggart: Muga for Saggart School House Community Centre?
That this committee requests that consideration be given to the provision of facilities and amenities for the young population of the Lucan and surrounding areas by way of youth centre at the lands where Carline Learning centre is located.
That the Chief Executive confirms landownership of the lands where the Carline Learning site is located.
That the Manager take urgent action to fix the unresolved matter of a broken kerbisde at (address provided) Glenaulin Road, Palmerstown. The matter was reported by the home owner on 25/10/22 (CC1758305) The matter was reported by Cllr Alan Hayes on 06/01/23 (rep 1769042) and again 19/02/23 (rep 1777089) and no action has been taken at this location.
That this Area Committee requests the attendance of a representative of a Irish Water to report to us about the continued sewage outflow into the ecologically important amenity of Dodder Valley Park.
This Area Committee requests the installation of a speed ramp for traffic calming purposes outside Glenasmole National School.
"This Area Committee asks that management report on what steps are being taken by SDCC to increase its land holdings in the Tallaght area, what land purchased have been made and to bring to the Area Committee for discussion its strategy for the development of local authority housing beyond current projects?"
To ask the Chief Executive to re examine the road surface along the Newcastle road as a number of utility lids/shores have dipped in the road and its resulting in cars driving around them to avoid damage to the car. Could the Chief Executive also make a statement as to whether there has been an increase in utility shores along the Newcastle over the last few years given the volume of development in the area over the same period.
To ask the Chief Executive if an update is available regarding the examination of local community, policing, safety forums etc in the Lucan area.
To ask the Chief Executive to provide a report on the cleansing schedule in the Lucan area in particular the bins in the Hermitage Park and along the Ballyowen lane.
To ask the Chief Executive as to whether the Council retains any ownership or interest in Cherry Orchard Industrial Estate.
To ask the Chief Executive for an update on the extension of Library opening hours in the Lucan, Palmerstown and North Clondalkin area.
To ask the Chief Executive for an overview of the number of houses managed by AHBs in Lucan, Palmerstown and North Clondalkin specifying the number managed by each AHB.
