That this Local area committee acknowledges the public anger at planning decisions made by SDCC and An Bord Pleanála in relation to our historic cultural and heritage Village , examples being of Clondalkin Convent Nursing home , the wall at Floraville Cottage , the removal of a major part of the wall on the boot road etc and while noting that councillors have no role in these decisions , we ask the SDCC planners to liase with Councillors who where democratically elected to represent there constituent's We ask for a comment report to be brought to this committee for Discussion
To ask the chief executive if it can happen that a household that have been granted a tenancy transfer between two SDCC owned properties or from an SDCC owned property to one managed by an AHB can ever be paying double rent in both residences while they move from one to the other?
This area committee notes with disappointment that despite motions being passed that the bins along the Greenway of the Grand Canal in Clondalkin would be emptied more often than once a week, this has not yet been implemented. This committee agrees that the matter should be addressed post haste.
Could the Manager please make a report giving details of the current policy concerning the process of adding adult children to the tenancy of current social housing and explain why so many applicants are turned down for tenancy?

To ask the Council for a report on the maintenance of the laneways between Woodlawn Park Drive and Avenue and to detail the schedule for grass cutting, general maintenance, litter picking and tree pruning along the area.
To ask the Council for a report on any anti-social behaviour issues that have arisen and been reported in Daletree and Beechdale, Ballycullen over the last number of months
To ask the Council about the installation of yield signs and white lines at junctions within the Woodlawn Park Grove estate, in particular at the entrance by Carrigwood, where speeding and failure of parents collecting children from Scoil Treasa to stop at this junction continues to be a problem.
To ask the Council for a report on graffiti in the Ballycullen and Stocking Wood areas including the amount of graffiti that has been cleaned up in the area and the cost of that clean up.
"This Area Committee calls on the Manager to indicate how many Community Centre in the Tallaght area, have a Defibrillator in place and of those that have one, how many have one located outside their premises, accessible to the public, if required, in the event of an emergency?"
