"That this Committee discusses with the aid of an up to date planning report the Landy’s Lane site on the Knocklyon Road noting that it has a recent residential Planning permission – and to note an attempt recently by the owner to open a skating/disco rink without necessary planning – also taking into consideration that this site previously was the subject of the erection of an illegal Mast- subsequently refused. "That this Committee discusses the consultation process/timescale of the Draft Parking Bye-Laws, many constituents complaining that the Christmas period was not a suitable period and that the consultation period should be extended. Legislation provides for a minimum statutory consultation period not a maximum. SDCC are entitled to discuss and consult with citizens at any time and that this issue be discussed in order to ensure the Bye-Laws are not open to be struck down by a court “for want of form or process."

To ask the Manager to present a detailed and up-to-date report on any outstanding planning and enforcement issues relating to 26 Larkfield Close, Lucan?
To ask the Manager would he agree to convene an on-site meeting at the lands between Castle Riada and Moy Glas Estates, Lucan to discuss the range of issues having a detrimental impact on the quality of life of the local residential communities from these two estates, and that the meeting be attended by an official from each of the relevant departments, including Parks, Roads, Environment, Planning and Development, and that a representative of each of the two Residents Associations be invited to attend. That the Manager would agree that the mounting issues must now be resolved owing to many years of difficulties being experienced by the local residential communities?
To ask the Manager to present a detailed and up-to-date report on any outstanding planning and enforcement issues relating to 66 Esker Park, Lucan?
To ask the Manager to examine the feasibility of utilising an appropriate work-placement or training programme to gainfully engage unemployed persons in environmental improvement works under the auspices of the Parks & Landscaping Department including, as per my previous representations, repairs to the wall at Lucan Demesne on the Lucan-Leixlip road and completion of the stone wall around Hermitage Park onto Ballyowen Lane?

To ask the Manager to examine options to close off access to the green area along that section of the old road embankment between Moy Glas and Castle Riada estates not subject to a legal right-of-way. Closing off access to this area would help minimise the serious problems of anti-social behavior experienced by residents of Moy Glas and Castle Riada, at least until such time as the proposed Luas line F is constructed along this embankment?
To ask the Manager if he will provide an updated report on the Planning Application launched some months ago for substantial development on the Liffey Valley lands under the Local Area Plan?

To ask the Manager to report on the status of the Lucan Weir?
