That this Committee requests the Manager to report to the Minister for Education and Science and request the Minister to prioritise St. Andrew's National School, Lucan and Esker Educate Together National School, Lucan for two of the three sites the Department of Educational and Science has recently indicated the Minister is seeking for the Lucan area.

To ask the Manager, if the Council intends to create a ‘Local Action Language Plan’ according to the 20-Year Strategy for The Irish Language 2010-2030?
To ask the Manager to report on this council’s arrangements for publishing ‘name-&-shame’ lists of persons successfully prosecuted for littering and illegal dumping?
To ask the Manager to update on efforts to progress the proposed school transport pilot project including details of any responses to funding applications made to the Department of Transport’s ‘Smarter Travel’ funding streams?
Would the Manager outline how much the Council has received from the proceeds of the Plastic bag levy; how much has been received by the Council since its introduction and how much does the Council expect to receive and expend on same in the coming year?
That this Council requests the Manager to produce a detailed report for discussion as to how South Dublin would benefit from the services of those who could engage in important community services instead of facing prison sentences, including working in the removal of graffiti works as recently carried out in other Local Authorities through the Probationary Services, and that further consideration would be given as to how other environmental improvement works in other departments including Parks, Environmental Services, Cemetery Maintenance etc., could also be included in this programme.

To ask the Manager to erect a sign at the green behind the Esso station on Monastery Road, Clondalkin stating 'no golf' or similar wording? A resident has been playing golf on this green and has smashed a window of another resident's house.

(b) Which of these (with ref. nos.) have been given planning permission
(c) To outline Planning Policy on the matter?
That the Manager arrange that the footpath on the Fonthill Road from first entrance to St. John's Estate as far as the Old Nangor Road junction (Corkagh Park side), Clondalkin to have overhanging trees and shrubs cut back.
"To ask the Council's Roads Department to address a request on behalf of an elderly constituent to have a small area c. 2 metres long x 1 metre in breadth tarmacadamed at *Address Supplied.... The area is the only grassed area on that road and is frequently mucky and not passable for this gentleman to exit his car safely?"

(a) Can Council Staff be moved from their areas of responsibility to emergency work?
(b) Was this done during the recent snows?
