Letter, dated 25/03/13, from Tánaiste's office in response to SDCC's amended motion calling for the release from prison of Martin Price and Marion Corey (M2/1012)
"To ask the Manager to confirm if there were any reports of flood damage as a result of the heavy deluge over the week ending Sunday 24th March, my concern is in relation in particular to the estates of Castlefield, Glenvara and Glenlyon and if there were any report of excessive flooding/damage?"

Update on Stockingwell
"To ask the Manager to consider placing the anti-dog fouling stencilling along the path leading in the direction of Elkwood on Ballyroan Heights, this request comes on foot of repeated complaints from Residents in this area, concerning the numbers of people who allow their dogs to foul in the area and fail to pick up. Would the Manager consider locating a bin at or close to this green area. For the avoidance of doubt the green area to which I refer is not the big green area between Knockcullen & Elkwood but instead is the small green on the right hand side travelling in the direction of the Eldwood Green?"
"To ask the Manager to outline the Council’s policy to mending leaking pipes, I’m referring in particular to a leaking pipe between **Address supplied, which flows down the hill and can be dangerously slippy when it freezes over?"
"To ask the Manager if the Council is in favour of locating seats in specific areas within the Ward, this request comes on foot of a request from Butterfield District Residents’ Association following a deputation with all of the Councillors in the Ward last month?"
"To ask the Manager to consider the provision of double yellow lines along the entrance to Lansdowne Park, there are two entrances to Lansdown Park, for the avoidance of doubt, the entrance to which I refer is the one nearest the Esso Petrol Station. The Council some months back put in place a wider ramp which extend into Lansdowne Park, there is a car continuously parked at the point where the ramp ends in Lansdowne and is causing both confusion and chaos for residents and other road users. The provision of double yellow lines at this junction would eliminate this?"
"To ask the Manger to provide more litter bins in the Rathfarnham area?"
"To ask the Manager to consider repainting the white lines, which have faded with time, at the junction of Ballyroan Heights and Ballyroan Crescent?"
"To ask the Manager if it is possible for the Manager to prepare a “Grass Works Programme” for the Rathfarnaham area, which would give some outline as to the grass cutting arrangements needed in the area from March to October?"
"To ask the Manager to consider widening the junction where Marian Road comes onto Ballyroan Road to allow for the turning of the 15b bus coming up Marian Road. The buses at this junction, have to mount the kerb and grass area to complete the turning?"

"That the Manager designs a plan for the removal of the Bottle Bank facility at the Grange Road/Sarah Curran Ave. This Committee have been trying to find a solution for many years, there is now an opportunity with the proposed extension of permeability for the area."
"That the Manger with the aid of a report presents to this meeting a report for discussion on the recent pollution of the Rivers Glynn/Owendoher and Dodder. I did receive confirmation directly following the event but in the days that followed it was cited in the media that there was further pollution of the River Dodder. Can the Manager confirm if there was any loss of fish and the cause of the pollution?"
