That this Council believes that all those who work for a living should receive a decent wage to help provide for their material needs. This Council believes that Zero hours contracts place much uncertainty on individual and household budgets. Council also notes that wage levels in many areas of employment fall short of providing an adequate standard of living.
This Council therefore believes in the abolition of Zero Hours Contracts.

Ballycullen Oldcourt Draft Local Area Plan (LAP) - Public Consulatation Update
To ask the Manager to write to the RPA to clean up the Luas Park and Ride amenity at Red Cow. It has never been cleaned and there are various items of rubbish in the location?
To ask the Manager to investigate the possibility of bringing the Disappeared Exhibition to Clondalkin for display in the Civic Offices or in some other suitable space? I recently viewed the exhibition in City Hall in Belfast and feel that it would be good to enable people in Clondalkin to view it.
To ask the Manager what the situation is regarding the missing railing at the bus stop adjacent to Riversdale Estate? I had alerted the council to this extreme hazard last year and had been assured that the area would be made safe. Can the Manager confirm whether the railings at this location have been replaced?
The Clondalkin Tidy Towns Group needs a location in the village to store it's tools and to hold meetings etc. This group is doing excellent work and needs the help of the council with this. To ask the Manager if space can be found in one of the buildings in the Clondalkin Village area to facilitate the Tidy Towns group in continuing their excellent work?
To ask the Manager for a report on the implications of the ongoing service level agreement negotiations with Irish water for the SDCC staff and assets in the water service currently working and based in Clondalkin and to indicate whether it is the intention of the Council to retain these staff as SDCC employees under their current terms and conditions or whether some other arrangement is being considered as part of the SLA negotiations with Irish Water?
To ask the Manager what is the timeframe for the pedestrian crossing on the Coldcut Road which crosses from the St Bernadette's Schools side to Glenfield. Will this crossing be signal controlled with lights and will there be two sets of lights or one? As the road is very wide at this location will sufficient time be given to ensure people get across the road safely and is it possible to allow extra time at busy crossing times such as school opening and closing times?
