To ask the Chief Executive to identify possible bridges and locations that could be named after people from the South Dublin County area? To ask for a report on possible roundabouts that could be named after people from South Dublin County Council area and to look at this as being a way to engage Public Consultation?
That this Council re instate grants for local resident associations to purchase lawnmowers/strimmers which enables them to attend to large green areas and lessen the burden on Council staff.
To ask the Chief Executive, how many tenants have been transferred or are waiting to be transferred for reasons related to Anti-Social Behavior across the County, with a possible breakdown of each area?
To ask the Chief Executive what plans if any, have the Council to promote cleaner communities campaigns, encouraging community groups and residents to participate in such initiatives in housing estates. Additionally, what support will be given to those who chose to participate?
To ask the Chief Executive, what was the total cost to the Council last year for the removal of litter and illegal dumping?
"That the Chief Executive recognise the lack of visual appeal and financial cost of erecting dog fouling signage in our parks, where often no existing posts or signage exist, this Area Committee calls on South Dublin County Council to trial the use of stencils for spray painted, on-pavement dog fouling signage."
"That this area Committee calls on South Dublin County Council to implement a practical and achievable programme of tree replacements in the Orwell Park Estate - Orwell Park Green, Way, Avenue and Cresent, where old, unsafe trees have previously been removed."
