"That the Chief Executive respond that in January 2014 I tabled a motion seeking that all green spaces within our area be collated, that an assessment be made and a report prepared for this meeting confirming that the maximum use is being made of the space and indeed, highlighting where better use could be made of some spaces. This reply to this question on the last occasion was so vague as to be unclear and I’m now repeating my request. If we had this information along with the dimensions of each space we would have a better understanding of our open spaces and in turn we could be sure that proper and best use of those spaces is being made. Can the Chief Executive confirm who paid for the new entrance as some residents believe the developer responsible for the new estate behind the garage on the Knocklyon Road paid for it?"

The Tidy Towns Committee does invaluable work in the area and it is very frustrating for them to have their hard work destroyed by SDCC agents. It would be beneficial for the entire community if local interest groups were consulted when such works are due to be carried out in their area. SDCC should be working to support community groups."
"That the Chief Executive confirm what progress has been made since I put down a motion (specifics as to date to follow) with regard to the Ballyboden roundabout and St. Catherine’s Gate. I described and once more affirm my view that this roundabout is the “poor relation”, a useful exercise would be to compare the budget spends on each of the three in a row roundabouts stretching from Ballyboden, to Templeroan, up to Orlagh. There is huge potential at the Ballyboden roundabout as any landscape design can incorporate the areas of disused land behind the stone walls. It is important also as we approach the Centenary celebrations next year and visitors coming to visit Pearse’s Museum, that the area look its best, but lest there be any doubt this is work that the Chief Executive agreed sometime back to do, with the passage of time and no progress there is now an even more pressing reason to get this roundabout looking better."

That this Committee agrees to write to Dublin Bus asking them to consider the provision of a bus service from Bawnogue and Clondalkin Village to Tallaght Hospital.
"That this Area Committee requests the Chief Executive to present a detailed update on
- the steps and indicative timeline for delivery, in conjunction with developers and the Education & Training Board, of a new multi-functional Sports & Community Hall which would provide a much needed sports hall for Adamstown Community College as well as providing much-needed indoor space for sports clubs and community group in the Lucan & Adamstown area as called for previous motions passed by this Committee and recommended in the Lucan Community Initiative; and
- to further examine the feasibility of SDCC acquiring the disused Marketing Suite building at Adamstown Boulevard for use by community groups and sports clubs and for provision of space for micro-enterprise and training."
