That this Committee calls on the Chief Executive to arrange to have the road adjacent to the Square Luas stop and the junction on to Belgard Square West inspected. The white lines on this road have become badly faded and this is causing a danger to drivers as a result. I have raised this several times and was previously informed in a question that this would be done by October.

"That this Area Committee: Noting the concerns expressed and actions agreed at the November meeting of the Land-Use Planning & Transportation SPC in relation to the reduced speed limit on the Chapelizod Bypass in the Dublin City Council area, expresses its concerns about the lack of notice and reasoning being provided to elected members of neighbouring councils and more generally to residents of Lucan and Palmerstown (and other road users) of both the reduced speed limit and future planned road layout changes on the Chapelizod Bypass, requests the Chief Executive to outline any consultations or communications held at official level between Dublin City Council, the National Transport Authority and this Council on the changes and proposals for the Chapelizod Bypass and invites officials from Dublin City Council to provide a briefing to this Committee on the changes and proposals for the Chapelizod Bypass."
