"This committee commends the management of four star pizza in Clondalkin for their commitment to address the problems of litter caused by the discarding of their cartons and also the problems associated with their bins. We urge them to follow through on those commitments."
That this Committee supports the location of a park bench at the 'Tree of hope' in the Dodder Park – at the Seskin View end.
"That the Chief Executive re-surface the laneway between No. 157 and 159 Ballyroan Road leading to Anne Devlin Park. This laneway is extremely well used by residents, in particular older people, going to the local shops, church and library etc. I had submitted this as part of the Ballyroan cycle & walking public consultation - the works could be done as part of this project."
"That this Area Committee requests the Chief Executive to examine the proposal by Woodview Heights residents for the incremental removal of the solid, masonry boundary wall between Dodsboro Road and the open space either side of the entrance to their estate and the replacement of the wall with railings so as to enhance visibility and passive surveillance of this open space and to eliminate the secluded areas currently created between the wall and adjoining trees given that there areas are regularly used for anti-social activity; with a view to commencing some initial works in 2017."
"That this Area Committee notes the ongoing and persistent problem of illegal and unsafe parking on double yellow lines at and around the junction of Tandy’s Lane and Woodview estate; and requests the Chief Executive to examine options for physical works such as built-out of the kerb, installation of bollards or a raised traffic calming cushion that could be implemented at this location in an effort to improve safety for all road users."
"To ask the Chief Executive to bring a report for discussion on the development of a plan for reclaiming St Cuthberts Park"
"That the council present a report for discussion on the transfer of lands and for an update on part 8 planning permission for the provision of an astro turf pitch for Knockmitten United Football Club."
"To ask the Chief Executive to provide a report on the progress of taking in charge of Newcastle Manor, listing any outstanding works to be completed before the council can take this estate in charge."
