That this Council call on the Minister for Justice to supply more Garda to all stations across the County. With the current surge in gun crime and general crime some Garda stations are finding it impossible to get to residents that are reporting crime in their area. We need more garda in our Communities across the County.

That the Chief Executive writes to the Minister for Disability calling for him to introduce legislation ensuring all Disabled Toilets are installed with changing benches or hoists to facilitate parents. The current situation means parents of disabled children are forced to lie their children down on toilet floors to change them, which is a very distressing and upsetting situation.

"That this Committee requests the Chief Executive Officer to consider implementing CCTV in the Willsbrook Park Lucan as there has been many reports to date of criminal activity and the park is also used by various clubs/teams especially young children."
To ask the Chief Executive for an update on the feasibility study to be carried out in 2017 in relation to facilities for older children.

"Further to my representations made on the issues and concerns raised by the club members and club users at the facilities in the Griffeen Park (Weston Hockey/Lucan Harriers) (see email below) that this committee requests the CEO to further examine the introduction of CCTV at this location.
"We had 3 car break ins at our clubhouse car park again this evening on Newcastle road.
Disappointing for this to happen after lights were installed.
It's clear we need more security and help from the council on ways to increase security around the clubhouse, track and Weston hockey pitch.
We've had numerous problems with anti social behaviour. These car break ins tonight were 2 Lucan Harriers cars and 1 from local GAA.
The culprits wait for Harriers to leave the track and hit during training times when they know the car park is quiet.
Can you all please help and escalate at council meetings on our behalf?
We obviously need help with increasing security measures, getting surveillance cameras working again.
Thanks in advance for any assistance you can give."
That this committee asks the Chief Executive to further investigate the introduction of Defibrillator signage within our county and to report back on the costs involved. Defibrillators are of such benefit to those in our society and generally are provided to fundraising and to introduce signs identifying the location of defibrillators where possible would be a great asset to the community.

To ask the Chief Executive what are the plans for Seachtain na Gaeilge in South Dublin County for 2017 and will there be events outside of Tallaght and Clondalkin and are there opportunities for Councillors to participate in events.
