"A new group, Friends of the Camac, has been established to protect and enhance the River Camac as it flows through the Clondalkin area. They would like an update on the plan that was formulated several years ago at my request to build a walkway/ cycleway along the Camac at the Watery Lane from the village (Clondalkin Park/ Community Centre) to the Canal Greenway at Woodford. Has any more progress been made on securing permeability funding for this project and can our new group do anything to assist in the process of securing funding?"
"There has been an ongoing problem with flooding at Boot Road / Commons Road.
(name and address supplied.) Recent heavy rain on August 22 caused inundation of the property again. There was never a problem with flooding at this location but a blockage further down the line, the addition of more properties to the line and changes to the camber of the road have probably contributed to this problem which is causing the resident huge stress because of the fact that the property is constantly in danger. What plans are in place to address this long standing issue?"
"How much has the work at Brú Chrónáin cost the council?
What contribution has central government or the OPW made to the project?"
"This committee commends the team that was involved in the Round Tower Heritage Centre and asks for a report on the operation of the Centre during its first fabulous Summer season."
"This committee recommends that in considering planning applications for the building of homes, that people who grew up in the rural areas of the Clondalkin electoral area would be enabled to continue to live there and be part of their communities."
"This committee resolves that a plan would be drawn up to open up the section of the Camac River along the Watery Lane. This would involve cutting back the trees between Riversdale and Mayfield which have been causing a hazard to traffic this Summer. It would mean that the beauty of the River at this location would become visible to Clondalkin residents."
"There is concern about the problem of Japanese Knotweed in the Clondalkin area. Could a report be presented on the extent of this problem and on the plan to address it."

"The automated gates at the Wellington Lane entrance into Tymon Park are working well. However, the opening times are not making the most of daylight hours. Could the opening hours be pushed out further in order to maximise park usage."
"That the Chief Executive look at the tree lined pathway that runs between Woodlawn Park Drive and Woodlawn Park Avenue to the Firhouse Road which is a fantastic asset to the Firhouse community. It is well used by residents going to Scoil Carmel Junior School. Of late, it has become very overgrown. It is also being used to dump garden and organic waste which is attracting rats to the area. With a little more attention, this could be prevented. Could this pathway be included on the cleaning schedule for the area"
"At the June ACM, a motion was passed to write to the NRA about extending the Dublin Bus routes from Ballycullen to Oldcourt. In previous correspondence with Dublin Bus on this issue, I was told that a turning point would be necessary on the Oldcourt Road (R113). That the Chief Executive verify if any provision has been made for a turning point through any of the private planning applications for housing developments along this road or by any other means."

"To ask the Chief Executive for an update on the future of Whitechurch Library?"
"To ask the Chief Executive for an update on the Compulsory Purchase of land adjacent to Gaelscoil Knocklyon?"
"That this committee recognises the great success of the Round Tower Visitor Centre since its opening, and that in light of this agrees to write to the office of Public Works to request a new and improved sign on the Tower itself. The current one is almost illegible and looks very old and weathered."
